Well, Blunt just sank Adams's battleship.
Now Weisz probably takes BAFTA, King the Oscar.

I can totally see Weisz taking over the Oscar after her imminent BAFTA win in a few days. I think it'll be between her and King after all.

I love Mahershala Ali and was really thrilled when he won an Oscar for Moonlight, but I don’t know about him winning another Oscar so soon. Don’t get me wrong, he’s easily the best part of Green Book and I’m cool with his nomination, but I don’t know if he needs a second Oscar for a movie I won’t remember in a year. Kinda wished Sam Elliott or Richard E. Grant could’ve won here.

Why is this year so full of upsets? It's insane.

Emily Blunt? Well this works in King’s favor. I wasn’t that big on A Quiet Place but I’m sure this feels really good for her after being snubbed at the Oscars. The parallels between King and Stallone is uncanny. Stallone missed SAG and Bafta, SAG goes to someone who wasn't nominated for the oscar but was double nominated on the SAG night. Stallone loses to someone whose film is up for Picture which King is up against.

Geez guys, there's no reason to make Ali overrated, one win was enough at this point in his career.

If Weisz wins best supporting actress, could The Favourite wins best picture? How are those linked up?

For once I agree with Patricia Arquette sweeping the season, what she does in Dannemora is fearless. Favourite performance of the year for me

Literally the first time I'd ever heard the names of the actors who played the other members of Queen.
