Bad assery, combined age: 155........If you look closely you can almost feel the ghost of Marlon Brando in this photo, who of course along with maybe Jack Nicholson is their only rival for US GOAT. Often imitated, never duplicated, never surpassed.

Pretty amazing trailer tbh.
And amen to this:
Glad a lot of people on here have already seen it in theaters... but still not nearly enough! It'll still be great on Netflix, but experiencing the masterpiece on the big screen is essential!

Solid trailer. Very interesting how much they're leaning on The Pesh in this one . . . Pacino almost came up as an afterthought in it.

The movie looks great and I'm sure that I won't feel any of this in the actual film itself because of Scorsese's mastery and De Niro's greatness but in the trailers Sheeran's CGI eyes are so damn distracting.

That new trailer is so great that I wish I had seen it before going to see the actual movie Provides a much clearer thematic frame than the previous trailer (though that was good too) and gives a fuller sense of the film's emotional weight.

I'm not happy about the fact that it is not convenient for me to watch it at the theatre.

That was an awesome interview.......some observations: * The ghost of Marlon Brando haunts that interview. That joke is still funny ......I'll stop using it when Axis Sally comes out I reckon but for now, feels right. * Pacino in a colored and snazzy sport coat AND nice dress shoes...... he's really selling this movie - he showers and cleans himself up and looks relatively normal. * I love how they just sit there and casually - almost bored - talk about almost doing Pope of Greenwich Village, Glengarry Glen Ross, 1900 and how The Godfather and Scarface and Pretty Woman happened or didn't for them ("were you offered it"? ) and God knows what else that they can't even remotely be bothered to remember.

I love De Niro's expression when Pacino calls Raging Bull one of the greatest performances in film history (around 7:30), like he's tired of hearing about himself.

Did we post the big GQ interview??? www.gq.com/story/al-pacino-and-robert-deniro-godfathers-of-the-year-2019I've also copied it into the spoiler here just for anyone if they don't have access to the site or something idk! -- One of the best interviews of this "tour" so far, I think. Pacino his usual hilarious self performing scenes and stuff but also very candid here especially on why he's done bad movies lol. He also mentions Lear - sounds hopeful enough! And the interviewer gets points for mentioning Manglehorn-The Humbling-Danny Collins.
