He often gets something special out of his camera. Some very good work, but The Thin Red Line is one of the best shot films ever.

Can't go against "The Thin Red Line" here - truly masterful work. A big shoutout to "The Last Samurai" which is gorgeous and underrated.

The man has two all-timers to his credit: The Thin Red Line and Braveheart. But the former is, bar none, the greatest cinematography in film history. Sorry, Janusz, but you robbed Johnny T.

I don't even like the movie that much but The Thin Red Line is one of the most beautifully shot films of all time.

lol, Jack. It's so hard to choose between Braveheart and The Thin Red Line, but it has to be the latter. Legends of the Fall and Cloud Atlas are great as well.
