Quite an underrated DP IMO. I don't personally nominate Lion but I'm glad Fraser snagged some acclaim for it. I loved his understated and somber work on Foxcatcher too. Not a visually dynamic film but it didn't need to be. His work on Zero Dark Thirty also isn't talked about enough, given that's it's the most visually interesting of Bigelow's recent slate of political thrillers. His best work though, hands down, is Bright Star. Just lovely

Foxcatcher. That film is among the best of the decade, and Fraser's use of space plays a huge role in evoking the sense of alienation and imprisonment in Tatum's character.

Of the four I was trying to decide between, the only one without a vote was Mary Magdalene, so I voted for that.
