Now there's no question who's gonna be in the playoffs. *Snooze.... that's how I'm gonna feel this entire Christmas football period. It was looking like this was going to be a more exciting playoff with a Pac-12 team and the chance of a B10 championship upset. But now outside of LSU switching out for Bama it's the same old teams. LSU/OSU should at least be a great game. Yeah, I think LSU and Ohio State will be a great game, a powerhouse elite match-up, and a close fight. I think some years you'll have a lopsided championship game, but even without Clemson/Bama I don't think it'll be the case this year. I do think Clemson is dangerous - and even I have reason to count them out. They do have an embarrassing schedule, but you never know how good a Dabo team is until they come and bite you in the ass. I do think LSU should roll Oklahoma, but then maybe this is their year. They should've won that year they had Baker Mayfield, but they lost a 55-56 game to Georgia narrowly. I feel like that year was their chance they won't get back - because they're only going to have a team stronger than that every 4 years. Anyways, I definitely won't miss any of these games (maybe the 1st one but that's it), but it would be nice to have an upset or two. There's no parity in this sport, so you'll get the same teams again and again. I am a bit tired of the same teams too. |

Trevor Lawrence will beat OSU and I will laugh at the doubters thinking OSU are already national champs when it happens.

Ohio State really blew that half. Clemson offense that did nothing for 4 straight possessions to start.
Ohio State then made 3 crucial bad plays. Dropped touchdown in the redzone by the running back, that targeting call (which was a great play just took a nasty shot right on at a defenseless QB), and then not being able to tackle a big QB running 60 yards downfield who is that not athletic compared to say... Michael Vick or something

DAYUM.
Ohio State beats themselves here though. It really came down to 4 plays in the end. 2 penalties (especially that roughing the kicker) and 2 receiving errors. (1 of those a dropped touchdown)

With MAC postponing their season, I figure it’s a matter of time before the other conferences finally cancel or at least postpone their seasons. Right now the Big 10 is in talks over whether or not to play, and I think given the fact that they’re having a meeting on Sunday night is a likely sign that whatever their decision is isn’t going to be positive for a season happening.  |
