Don't really follow college football much unless UF isn't sucking but there's some good looking matchups this weekend like Michigan State vs Ohio State, Georgia vs Auburn, Notre Dame vs Miami, and TCU vs Oklahoma.

The best game of the year to me. I'd rather watch something like this, with the offenses making some plays but both defenses playing well, than a ridiculous shootout with both teams in the 40's/50's. Both teams in the 20's is perfect. Well played game all around except for Alabama's kicker.

So the #4 team lost this week, #5 is gonna lose next week, #6 has a rematch with a team they lost to earlier in the year so they'll lose that again, #7 lost and #8 lost. That leaves #9 in for the playoff which is... UCF |

There's no way UCF is getting in with their backup quarterback. Even if OSU and OKlahoma lose next week they'd do something like put in the Georgia/Alabama loser or three loss Washington or Texas. They're maybe not supposed to consider injuries, but UCF would have no chance against any of the playoff teams without Milton and will be lucky to win their conference championship this week. It's really too bad about him, IDK if he'll even play again after that injury.

LSU and Texas are putting up a passing showcase. Both Quarterbacks are seeing lots of holes in the secondary and middle of field.
Though, defenses of both teams have made some terrific plays. Just every other play they can't stop each other.

Gators just took the lead against LSU. If we pull this off we got South Carolina next week who just beat Georgia and then the bye. After beating South Carolina we get the Georgia game coming out of the bye with some momentum after beating Auburn, LSU and the team that beat Georgia back to back to back. Undefeated season is not out of the question.
At least until we run into Bama in the SEC Championship and then the committee robs us of a playoff spot.

No playoffs for Bama this year lmao I think they can still make it. They need Oklahoma to beat Baylor though - because then Oklahoma will have only have one really good win (not counting the Big 12 championship game). It would also help them if Oregon loses - because while Oregon's schedule isn't strong, they have one loss to an Auburn team that wasn't a bad loss. And if Auburn loses to Georgia and Alabama ending the season 8-4 - that lessens the strength of Auburn, and in sequence Oregon too and all that helps Bama. |
