I finally saw Bob Dylan on Thursday night. It's had some mixed reception online (and especially amongst the group I was with), but I really enjoyed myself. I'm not sure if it's a Dylan thing, but I thought it was a bit weird that he never said a word or introduced his amazing band. It also clocked in at under two hours -- but overall I really liked the show. He did some Sinatra covers and played a lot of his classics with a more upbeat spin. Was so happy to hear my favorite of his -- Don't Think Twice, It's All Right. I'm glad I got to see him.
What's the last concert you went to?

John Fogerty.... a few years ago already. He was great. I wish I went to more concerts...... but I have no friends..... I mean..... no friends with similar taste in music.

I saw The Black Lips a couple of months ago.
Going to see Ought in a few weeks and then Waxahatchee in August.

I've been to only two concerts in my life, the last one being Rush maybe 4-5 years ago.

The last one I went to that wasn't work-related was seeing Bruce Springsteen at Wembley last year. One of the greatest moments of my life.
One of the perks of my job is that I sometimes shoot country music performances for one of our broadcast networks, and I helped shoot Dolly Parton's charity concert after the Gatlinburg fire a few months ago. I'm not the biggest fan of country music, but living in the South, I've been exposed to more than my fair share of it, and as one of the networks I work on is exclusively in the genre, I'm even more irradiated with it.

They're one of my favorite bands, so I really dug the show. I remember that as soon as they started playing, the odor of weed seemed to completely take over the indoor arena.

The last concert I went to was a Rotting Christ one and it's needless to say that it was awesome. A great two hour show with just a 10 euro ticket. I've also already booked a ticket for a Goran Bregovic concert that's happening here on Friday and I can't wait since he is one of my favorite film composers.

My favorite band, The National, in October 2013. Not really a concert person, but I couldn't miss that opportunity.

I don't like concerts. I've only been dragged to one, Journey.

The last proper concert was Radiohead a month and a half ago, they were brilliant. Seeing Håkan Hellström in two days.

Saw David Byrne last night. Played lots of new stuff and not nearly enough of my favorite Talking Heads songs, but overall put on a helluva show. The guy still sounds great and moves around pretty well.

I don't really go to concerts like that. Too many crazies. I've only seen the Strokes and Nine Inch Nails live (with openers the Sounds for the former and Queens of the Stone Age for the latter). I passed out during the Strokes concert because I was on the floor and motherfuckers were squishing my skinny ass way too much, so I couldn't breathe. Nine Inch Nails was the last major one I went to and it was incredible.

I went to the Symphony of the Goddesses (Legend of Zelda concert with full orchestra) back in... November of '16. It was glorious.

M83. Not the biggest fan of their newest album, but they played a lot of their older stuff and the concert was amazing. They sounded great live. I’ll be going to MGMT here in a couple of months.

Don't go to many shows these days but saw the Psych Furs a couple weeks back - they still put on a great show as long as they concentrate on the first 2 records and some of the 3rd like this one below. It's nostalgia but the good kind and Richard Butler still sounds half Johnny Rotten and half Bowie......
