Angel Reese is just keeping it real. She's working to change the life of her and her family to maximise her earning potential and make millions of dollars, so yeah, a WNBA yearly salary of 74K or whatever is not even pocket change for the level she needs to maintain to be a star that makes money. Unfortunately it's not the NBA, where star players have 100 million dollar + contracts. WNBA pays Reese like a regular 9 to 5 job. Her real money comes from her extracurricular activities ( endorsements, podcasts etc). You'd have to be an idiot to have a problem with her doing that and speaking the truth. Keeping it real? This financial ignoramus is paying 8k rent (96k per year) on a 74k salary |

The best player in the world A'ja Wilson pays Angel Reese the ultimate compliment by saying she see's Reese as a "younger version of her". And that is what it comes down to. Reese's ceiling is that like Wilson, she can potentially become as good as her, offensively and defensively. Her game isn't there yet, but scary times if or when it does get there.
