Alyssa Thomas was great today............ so was Napheesa Collier in the loss.......game 5 coming up .......pretty good series........had 1 eye on it in the bar .......only 1 TV for WNBA ........Minnesota is a really undersized team

Here's a secret........... said this in the Unpopular Opinion Thread......Player of the Year and MVP are often not the same thing.........Wilson was PoTY.......and probably MVP too........but you can argue against her as unanimous MVP far more than you can Clark ..........who was further ahead of her roty rivals by comparison.......... Wilson is not much fun to watch play either..........

Caitlin Clark may be Rookie Of The Year, but it seems like for now at least, she may have to share being The Face Of The League with fellow rookie Angel Reese.
First time in the history of the league that they are producing wall calendars, and the only two players to get their own individual calenders are Clark and Reese. Crazy that two rookies are now the biggest superstars in the WNBA.

Juju Watkins - a GUARD who will BREAK Clark's career college scoring records if she stays healthy....... became RICH(ER) today.......

Angel Reese is just keeping it real. She's working to change the life of her and her family to maximise her earning potential and make millions of dollars, so yeah, a WNBA yearly salary of 74K or whatever is not even pocket change for the level she needs to maintain to be a star that makes money. Unfortunately it's not the NBA, where star players have 100 million dollar + contracts. WNBA pays Reese like a regular 9 to 5 job. Her real money comes from her extracurricular activities ( endorsements, podcasts etc). You'd have to be an idiot to have a problem with her doing that and speaking the truth.
