It could so easily be a cringeworthy crapfest or a future modern classic of horror/mystery
I still cannot decide but it got my attention for sure.

Just saw the trailer and I'm getting Rosemary's Baby's vibes, which is a good thing of course. I especially like how creepy Michelle Pfeiffer seems. I bet she's going to be great in this. Black Swan had all these brunettes, now aside from Javier, there are all these blue-eyed blonde people in the cast. Even the creepy guy that popped up behind her. I think the age difference between Lawrence and Bardem is going to mean something in the context of the film. Pretty sure that was gleason. I don't know who that is.

Oh! Wait a minute - I didn't know he was in this movie. My motivation to see it only increases.

So I'm guessing the cult members are into cannibalism?

It has something. I heard few new sounds in the backround and somebody fallen off stairs or was pushed a bit?

I mean, good on marshmallow face for trying something different, Marshmallow face, really? You are seriously the WOAT. Well it's no swapping out an "e" for an "i" in Ruth's last name. Stay in your lane, wombflop.

Pfeiffer looks like she's totally stealing the show here.

Aronofsky confirmed it's official on reddit, for me this is a rip off and not a homage. But it's a cool poster nonetheless

Honestly it takes...balls to plagiarize a poster this famous. I'm surprised this is real. Aronofsky is often times borrowing from others but he never pulled this sort of stuff in marketing campaign before

I would love to see a film that has a similar impact on the viewer as that one, but I also want it to stand on its own.

It just brings unnecessarry comparisons/criticsms to a clsssic

I liked this poster. It's not like they're trying to hide the inspirations, they're full-on nodding to Rosemary's Baby, so I think that's brave.

^ Amy Adams looks like a psycho Amish wife in that poster and I'm loving it.
