I would've given Blanchett the nom for DLU rather than Nightmare Alley.

Yeah, I think it's Kidman's to lose. Watch out for Chastain, too!

Feels like Gucci is the only film that came out out of these unscathed And it's probably getting into Best Picture at this point. There's a chance Gaga might be the only nominee in a BP contender.

Wow, Being the Ricardos gets two acting nominations, but no ensemble?? How bad did they think the rest of those performances were? Meanwhile Don't Look Up gets in because... Everyone in SAG was in it? Power of the Dog had 3 and still missed Not sure how I missed that

Wow, just wow. KStew looking DOA now. Too bad about Ellis, I really like her performance. Love that Supporting Actor lineup though.

Biggest surprises to me are the Stewart snub and Ellis missing Supporting Actress. SAG truly choose violence in Supporting Actor snubbing both Belfast actors and nominating all three of Leto, Affleck and Cooper. I feel like there’s probably only room for one max at the Oscars?
Mildly surprised that BtR missed Ensemble with the Bardem nom. Actress is probably a Kidman vs Gaga race, and I couldn’t be more bored with those two are frontrunners. I’ll be rooting for Chastain who is at least truly amazing in that film.
Ruth Negga getting into SAG means she’s probably locked at the Oscars, this was the test for her and I don’t see her missing now. Good for her. Blanchett is great in NA, happy for her as well.
I knew that there was no way Power of the Dog would get into Ensemble, glad I stuck with my gut on that one. Of Cumberbatch, Smith and Garfield, King Richard is the only ensemble nominee, so Will Smith is well positioned here.

Not sure if this is a big deal for The Power of the Dog or not. Doesn't kill it (Shape of Water had a similar haul) and Belfast and WSS also took some licks but missing Ensemble sure kept things interesting.

The Aunjanue Ellis snub makes no sense. A nom like that is usually SAG catnip.

Oh and Best Actress. You now have Hudson who is a serious contender again with AACTA + SAG noms and making the BAFTA longlist. Is she getting in!?

I'm definitely not doubting the nom anymore, just think Kidman, Gaga and Colman all have a much higher chance of winning considering they have the stronger films and have already proven support with other wins (Globe, NYFCC, Gotham). Gaga and/or Kidman will have a BP nom and Colman will have Screenplay, plus Gaga might be dragging along Leto. Chastain has to compete with Kidman who has the same kind of performance, make-up heavy biopic in a film that didn't get that good reviews, and the momentum is with Nicole.

These look more Golden Globe-ish than the Golden Globes Exactly. Celebrities doing impressions of famous people, performances as loud as possible, etc, etc.
While I'm pretty sure she's getting the nomination, yeah, a win for Kristen Stewart looks unlikely now.
Also, McPhee now has to be the supporting actor front-runner, right?

Mamma Mia, Jared Leto with back-to-back SAG Nominations. I was wrong about Bardem, he's still very much in the race for an Oscar nom. Nicole Kidman the new frontrunner? And of course....
