I don't know if there's an actual movie that did Julia Stiles in, but she disappeared FAST. She was another item of my youth. Moreso she was there rather than a major favorite, but she did a few movies where she at least made a positive impact like Wicked, 10 Things I Hate About You, Save the Last Dance, O, Bourne Trilogy, and Mona Lisa Smile. After Mona Lisa Smile, she went away. Well I guess she continued The Bourne franchise, but that was a Matt Damon movie where her impact is minimal in my mind. After that, I never heard from her again. Basically she was 1999-2003. Those were my years. Talk to me about anything 1999-2003 and I know it.

Alicia Silverstone is one of the best examples. But I don't put it down to just Batman and Robin. That same year she got paid $5 million (because of the success of Clueless) to do... Excess Baggage. A film she was actually leading. Hollywood was NOT happy.
Edit: Yeah why did Julia Stiles just disappear so fast? She was a big part of my youth too. There used to be a joke about getting her mixed up with Erika Christensen. Anyway, I never thought Stiles was the greatest actress, but she was in so many things and then just vanished. That was weird.
What does everyone think about Alec Baldwin? Wasn't he destined to be a big leading man? I remember watching his biography and James Woods said it was a mistake careerwise for him to turn down Patriot Games for A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway. The Marrying Man with Kim Basinger was a disaster all around from the making of to the outcome.
