Japan's basketball team is getting blocked all over the place. I'm not paying that much attention, but every time I look up, it's another blocked shot. But hey, they're in a gold medal match for the first time, in their home country, and they're losing to the USA. That counts for something. They're shooting some nice three pointers, if nothing else.

Anybody watching the Paralympics? I'm... not, because it isn't on standard NBC and I don't have Peacock. But at the last Winter Paralympics I got to see some skiing and it was really cool. And Murderball, that documentary on the USA wheelchair rugby team at the '04 Paralympics, was pretty great.
The reason being that a highlight reel for a goalball game just popped up in my Youtube feed. I had never heard of goalball, so it was kinda fun to check out. Not the most inherently exciting sport, but it isn't completely boring either.
