It's tough for the athletes, who had an exact plan of preparations towards the games.

Well, while it was inevitable, that is a shame. I do enjoy the Olympics. I always find myself wrapped up in some random sport/s I haven't watched before, or haven't watched since the last Olympics. A damn shame for the athletes too of course...the clean ones anyway.

How much insurance money is Japan getting for this? I remember reading something about how Japan said that their contract says "2020" and that if it gets delayed or canceled past the end of the year, the I.O.C. has to pay them.

The declaration of pandemic means insurances won't be paid, unless they made a special insurance for highly risky events. |

^that and I don't know if this would alter any payment in any way, but apparently the IOC and Japan's Pres. have agreed to hold it in 2021

Stupendous breakdown of the men's draw for the tennis fans on here - this guy who does the video is really great btw if you've never seen him.......he possibly jinxes Djoko here by saying he is headed to the Semi's before he faces a real challenge.........we'll see.........

Watching female soccer. ⚽
4-2 Sweden over Australia. No knock on Australia. Sweden is just too damn good with too many good players for most teams to compete with. Their passing on the flanks looks strong and their team looks like its at the peak of their strengths.
Sam Kerr did miss 2 shots that was staring right at the goalie, but one player should not have to do that much.

Our 4x100 Women's relay team is actually unreal.
4 in the last 5 Olympics, and we just beat the WR again.
