So what's everyone's opinion on vaccine passports?

Yeah I'm for it, too. Somehow we have to control this thing.

Sure, then we start requiring everyone to have tattoos that prove their vaccinations on their heads so you can scan them easily and everybody who doesn't comply can't buy anything and can't go out in public. If you're gonna say that the book of Revelation is crazy, then you've got to stop making it reality.

I don’t think people realize that a lot of vaccines are already necessary for much international travel.

Received an email this morning that education workers can now sign up for vaccines and I'm already booked for Saturday.

Got my second vaccine shot 2 days ago. My wife did as well. Super mild symptoms afterwards also. Bring on a hopefully close to normal summer!

I’m so disappointed of how Canada has been handling things. Over a year later and we’re in a worse spot. I think we’re even averaging more cases per million people than the US now, largely thanks to the variants and not having a producer/distributor of vaccines. Very frustrating.

Yeah, it's bleak right now.

I'm starting to be convinced that some people genuinely never want to come out of lockdown and are looking for any opportunity to bemoan the slightest easing of restrictions or condescend people for going out again, a lot of which seems to be directed at younger folks. Some of the pessimism from this crowd is suffocating and so counterproductive. England have reopened beer gardens for one day and I'm already seeing people worrying about a fourth lockdown, with one particular idiot saying to me "vaccines aren't a cure", even though they significantly reduce the risk of transmission so it doesn't mutate into a new variant and thus lowers the chance of fatal cases, which is as close to curing a virus as you can get. We've had 199 new cases in Scotland within the last 24 hours, nearly no deaths over the past week, have been in one of the hardest lockdowns in the world for 6 months, in which only essential businesses remained open, and yet people are STILL like this. It's like lockdown Stockholm Syndrome, fucking unreal.

Highly likely that these same ppl were the kids who would bemoan about not having hw to the teacher

Drish Pavan @dexter Miles Morales Guys.....wtf is happening in India???? It’s beyond out of control right now, people are arriving at hospitals and dying before they can even get in because there either is no oxygen available, the beds are full or the hospitals are way above full capacity. I hope you guys and your families are okay.....because this is horrific.

Up until two weeks ago they were still doing election rallies with thousands of people attending them. Really disheartening to see the news and see how helpless people are. We're staying indoors for the most part but I'll be returning back to the States next week, so fingers crossed. Thanks for asking Johann 🙏🏻

I hope you guys and your families are okay.....because this is horrific. It's a horrific how much the government let the citizens down by botching the second wave - first with the sluggish movement of the vaccination program, and then with letting the Kumbh Mela happen a year earlier and accelerating the cases. Even then, UP is still refusing to go to lockdown. Let's not even go to the fact that politicians would rather continue their political grandstanding during a pandemic rather than taking care of their countrymen. My classmates and I have been doing our level best to share hospital resources for anyone who needs it on social media. My family has been doing okay. None of us have stepped out of the house much in the last few days and my father had gotten his first dosage of the vaccine weeks ago. However, a lot of people I know have been infected by the virus, including my tuition teacher. It's a scary situation all over.

Its more severe than the first wave. My mother got infected 10 days back and immediately went into self isolation and i couldn't visit her but thankfully she is recovered now.

I hope you guys and your families are okay.....because this is horrific. maaaaaaan the second wave has hit hard af, like my neighbourhood was almost completely covid-free during the first wave and this wave it has been declared as a minor containment zone :-((( the lockdowns are roughhhh i haven't left my house for 3 days even for a walk, it's scary....my family is doing okay fortunately, my grandmother got her second dose about a week ago and my parents are at dose #1 but like the dad of a friend of mine got a severe case even after first dose so idk what to think 😢 even in college people keep demanding the administration to omit the evaluatives and stuff because in a lot of places the family situations are just that rough, but the administratives just aren't taking enough measures it's frustrating af.
