That plagueinc game is top trending for mobile apps too (probably helps because all of the memes). But hey, at least this is getting more people to watch Contagion. Funny enough how that virus came from a bat as well. |

Funny enough how that virus came from a bat as well. Rumors say the virus came from a biological weapons laboratory in Wuhan. I’ve heard that. The main theory though is that it went from a bat to a snake then to a human though from the animal market. Then again, who knows how accurate any of this information is since it hasn’t even been a couple of weeks. Plus a lot of the info has been coming out of China, who haven’t exactly been the best country to release truthful information. |

I mean, we know that bats have a bunch of diseases and that they're generally unsafe to eat. Certain animals (mostly scavengers) are bad for eating, because they get diseases from what they're eating, and it just goes all the way up. Gourmands need to utilize some common sense. |

Fruit bats? For real? What do they taste like ? Actually very small pieces with a lot of spices... I'd say similar to rabbit. For the ones who think that bats eat rotting food or something, well, fruit bats eat fruit. Most of the other bats eat flying insects, like a lot of birds do (I know bats are mammals), but nobody avoids eating birds because of that. Besides, I seriously doubt that a virus could survive being cooked. The disease is transmitted by living animals. |
