Klute and Swingtime are obvious, and I'd assume that Angel at My Table is there as well.

Rabbit Hole pretty clearly (ugh). Maybe Diamonds of the Night?
Is the sled a reference to Citizen Kane?

You think the leaves are a reference to Robert Aldrich's Autumn Leaves with Joan Crawford?
And the more I look at it, the more certain I am that I'm right with Diamonds of the Night.
My point of wavering on both of these is that I've never heard of either one and I came up with them through Letterboxd searches based on tossing a couple of words in and seeing what came up.

I'm gonna throw another really obscure choice out there (I'm confident that this is wrong). Owl by Kaneto Shindo, 2003. Shindo has three films in the Collection already, but none of them half as obscure as this. And I don't know what to make of the worm the owl is staring that.
Edit: Nah, that's Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Good spot, I should have read your comment.

Great find. I was really thinking what this could be. Just a shot into the blue, but maybe the three Coca Cola bottles could mean "One, Two, Three"?

Two men (dads) holding the babies that have the Euro symbol on them = Europa, Europa (Euro-Pa, Euro-Pa, get it? Lol)
The rabbit coming out of its warren has peas next to it...Warren Peas, a pun on War and Peace, so likely the Bondarchuk film.
The sled could be one of two films: Citizen Kane, or maybe Spike Lee’s Bamboozled (Bamboo-Sled, since the sled looks like it’s supposed to be made of bamboo).

I've seen all of those and A Face In The Crowd of course is amazing relevant nowadays and Diamonds Of The Night I could see becoming a major film in a way. I don't think it's widely seen, I don't know many who've seen it anyway - it functions as a Holocaust film, a coming of age film, and a near silent film too with great visuals.
I wouldn't call it obscure but not many people I know in the real world have seen it - it's extremely short so for a small film it packs a bit of a wallop.

My Beautiful Career is a terrific addition. Still need to see A Face in the Crowd, and I haven't heard of Diamonds of the Night but it looks amazing!

I love how varied this batch is. Hong Kong action, landmark feminist Aussie, a small harrowing Czech, and the percipient American must-see, where media, politics, and celebrity all collide around one mess of egomania. The fake applause machine...!
I haven't seen the Jackie Chan's or the Czech, looking forward to them.

I'm just happy that I nailed my Criterion prediction from that New Year's clue. I only got one, but bragging rights are bragging rights, no matter how small.

A Face in a Crowd is a must and an essential, a scarily relevant film. Excellent choice, that and Police Story.
