One day, when movie theaters are cute little niche things like "records shops" and "book chains" ......we'll all just look back at this and laugh like we do at stores that sold beepers.
I can get to an indie theater in a city since my appearance has changed enough since those wanted posters. I'll be there in early November after the September Equinox but before the Winter Solstice.
Amen.

Well on the bright side: only three more months from today (day before Thanksgiving, good date) ... get hype.

Roma was the only Netflix movie that got a theater release in my country, same date it was streamed on the platform in the us.
I hope the Irishman will also be shown in theaters here. Although, if it had a wide us release, that would be more likely.

Runtime clocked in at 210 minutes Lol it was rumored to be around 3-4 hours long a while back so I guess this makes sense. Epic crime saga indeed!

Runtime clocked in at 210 minutes While this does indeed sound like the best damn news ever (210 fucking minutes of new Scorsese crime epic sounds like heaven to me) but there is a note at the bottom of the film's page on the NYFF site which says " Runtime is subject to change." so I guess it may change at the end of the day. I sure hope not though!

Runtime clocked in at 210 minutes Well this raises my interest. 200+ minute films are usually fantastic, in my experience. I'm not sure I've ever seen a bad movie that long, actually. Last Temptation should've been around that length, honestly.

For fun, here's Pacino and De Niro's projects 170+ (cheating and adding The Hunt (10eps) - so they both have seven!)
The Hunt - ? AiA - 352m The Irishman - 210m Godfather II - 202m Godfather - 175m Scarface - 170m Heat - 170m
1900 - 316m OUATIA - 229m / 250 Director’s Cut The Irishman - 210m Godfather II - 202m Deer Hunter - 183m Casino - 178m Heat - 170m

Most of the festival films should have a firm idea on what the length is by now.
