Hearing the news about JFK assassination, probably? Yes and look at this picture - which has more complexity and scope than any of the films plots we've heard about this year (the last 10 years? More?), which are concerned about really small things to be honest (marriages declining, two men of religion talking to each other - I mean I'm into it they sound great, I am sure I will like those but come on - it ain't grand). One character in the photo has an involvement in it, one character benefits from it, the two characters fates are sealed by it - others may not know anything about it all - this is a single scene - people who aren't drooling for this film are like 3 fries short of a happy meal to me. Updated from the London Film Festival website by the festival director - I know its just hype but damn if they don't hype all the right things : Presented through the prism of Sheeran’s (De Niro) memories of his criminal past, the film uses state-of-the-art visual effects to ‘de-age’ the cast from their 70s through their 30s. The seamless (and astonishing) post-production allows Scorsese to bring together a favoured megawatt cast, all on exceptional form: the former Goodfellas pairing of De Niro and Joe Pesci (out of retirement here for Scorsese), alongside Harvey Keitel, Stephen Graham, Anna Paquin, Jesse Plemons, Bobby Cannavale and Ray Romano. Al Pacino, appearing for the first time in a Scorsese film, gives a performance as Jimmy Hoffa so good you’ll want to watch scenes again straight away, not least the many two-handers with Pacino’s Hoffa and De Niro’s Irishman Sheeran, whose friendship forms the heart of the film. What a way to close the LFF – with a total showstopper.

The film has an insane amount of facets to get excited about... but #1 really could be De Niro and Pacino finally TRULY sharing the screen with great roles in a great film. For fuck's sake... it could be a movie full of Heat diner scenes, where they actually both appear in the same shot! What a time to be alive...

Part 2 of 3 of The Cineranter Youtube profile is up - with some interesting stuff.
LFF artistic director with a new quote, again, can't trust her, but she's still working hard for it:
LFF artistic director Tricia Tuttle is full of praise for the performances in the biopic based on the lives of organised crime-linked union figures Frank Sheeran and Jimmy Hoffa and dismisses any concerns about the film’s extensive use of new-fangled digital de-ageing technology: “You forget all about it and lose yourself in this really complex story with many, many characters – only Martin Scorsese could pull this off.”

Really like the poster. Also happy that Pesci is being featured prominently, hopefully, he's got a good juicy role.

It's pretty obvious that Pesci has a "good juicy role."

After the first "announcement" teaser (the one with the cgi bullet) mentioned Keitel's name, no other mention of him. Not in the (real) teaser, not in the poster...
I really hope we get a glimpse of him in the final trailer. I know his role is really small but... It's Keitel!!
