Looks like you might be proven right that Ford is a legit Supporting Actor contender. If so, let it be known I called it first.

I am absolutely thrilled by how acclaimed this has been. My only fear is that my expectations are going to get too high because this is easily my most hyped film of the year.

Every time. And people wonder why they get disappointed.

My increasing anticipation is motivated much more by the approaching release date than the early reactions.

I hope it actually wins Best Picture since 'The Last Jedi' isn't going to.

Just got back from the screening; what a joy it was. Such a wonderful sequel, truly honouring the original whilst making something of its own. Some of the best set pieces of the 21st - Villeneuve is a master of his craft. Deakins' cinematography is stellar and assisted by delicious production design, visual effects and score. I hope it gets some love. I look forward to seeing how it ages. Greatly greatly enjoyed.
