DiCaprio will swing back at the Oscars, no way they leave him, especially if Gladstone wins. SAG voting body unlike the Academy is composed of a lot of extras and background actors who don't get his performance. "To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand DiCaprio's performance."

Lol, DiCaprio's performance is not some obscure fucking cipher you need a Rosetta stone to understand. SAG-AFTRA generally votes for the biggest names and showiest roles, so they would naturally gravitate towards a performance like his.

I mean Brian Tyree Henry and Judd Hirsch got nominated last year with absolutely nothing to their names. I wouldn’t completely write Melton and Sessa off right now. I just don’t think there will be the same passion for Melton as there was for those two. Obviously anything can happen but it’s kinda hard to see at this point

Oppenheimer hit everything it needed to, whilst KOTFM missed Leo, Barbie missed America, Poor Things missed ensemble and Holdovers missed ensemble and Sessa. There really isn't a strong enough #2 to overtake an incoming Oppenheimer sweep. stop jinxing.

May the Melton predictions stay in December. Meme Twitter will have you thinking he's the second coming of Timothy Hutton.

If I had to make a guess on the Oscars now...
Actor Murphy Cooper Giamatti Wright Scott (my NGNG prediction all season)
Actress Stone Gladstone Mulligan Robbie Huller
Supporting Actor RDJ Gosling De Niro Dafoe Ruffalo
Supporting Actress Randolph Brooks Blunt Foster Cruz
I think Supporting Actress is bound to confirm the SAG 5.

Exactly. A ton of nominees tonight will miss. IMHO only Giamatti, Murphy, RDJ, Gosling, Gladstone, Stone, and Randolph are actual locks. I wouldn't be too surprised if any of the other nominees get replaced

DiCaprio being snubbed doesn't make any sense Actually, it does. He's terrible in the film. Actually, it doesn't. He was brilliant in the film. You're just the dumbest, most odious, most arrogantly braindead fuck on these boards. But I knew that before you gave your opinion on ANY contender this year. 🤣🖕

DiCaprio missing made me happy. Cooper would never have missed. The audiences haven't dug him but industry insiders so clearly have. I'm still rooting for Andrew Scott for the Oscars tho' that is looking less likely by the minute Also, a miracle for Sessa, please...

There really isn't a strong enough #2 to overtake an incoming Oppenheimer sweep. Poor Things and The Holdovers aren't ensemble type films - and weren't expected for SAG. Sessa and America were always on the bubble, and she can still replace Cruz at Oscars.
