Thought recently that Burrow seems like a really good guy for staying with his college girlfriend when Olivia Dunne is obsessed with him and constantly shooting her shot and trying to thirst trap him on social media. Not a lot of guys would do that

One bite only.........everybody knows the rules........ Pacinoyes, Joe is your boy and all. But are you jumping the gun on this race? Lamar is healthy for once (hoping it stays that way). AFC North for the first time in Joe's career has gotten back to its historically top form....he's been beating a down AFC North for the last 2 years. Plus, Bengals' schedule is hard compared to the Chiefs' and Texans' breeze. And..... Browns own the Bengals. And Texans' have a QB, the only team in the NFL where the QB is the only good thing about it.... which could make next week's Bengals/Texans game a dogfight too. Still lots of games left to be played.... Chiefs/Bengals, Bengals/Ravens could shift the AFC in a major way. On the NFC...... Eagles won the midseason, but with Niners/Eagles and Eagles/Cowboys still coming up, that conference has yet to be decided as well. Don't think any other team is much of a contender tho, at least for a deep run. And that includes the Dolphins and Bills on the AFC.

Return of the Top 10: (Nov 12)
1. Mahomes - One bad game.... Broncos. I think #1 is fair. Actually maybe the Jets too.
2. Hurts - Not been the flashiest... but they're 8-1 and he's pretty good situationally.
3. Stroud - The flashiest. A phenom. His performance in the last 2 games have been awesome. Probably my favorite overall QB if I go subjectively.
4. Dak - In the past month, he's been about Top 1. Overall? I'd say he deserves the spot matching his jersey number. His one horrific game being the 49ers.
5. Jackson - I had him #2 last week, but today's game just looked ugly. Still top 5.... I guess he could be #4. eh....it's close.
6. Burrow - Looked like crap at the beginning, went on a streak the next month, and now back down to crap? Even if he bounces back next game, they're 5-4 and last in the division.... for a team considered a Super Bowl contender.
7. Goff - Pretty good this year, but I generally don't hear him referred to in the upper tiers.
8. Tua - Good overall, but looks different against the great teams.
9. Lawrence - Sometimes look like he moves that offense along nicely, but at times (like today) he looks really easy to shut down.
10. Allen - Bills have been a snoozefest to watch the last month. He needs to answer for his porous offense. Even if not all of it is his fault... he's still the one running the offense.
11. Herbert - Great talent, but the late game heroics are always absent, and his passer rating under pressure is close to worst of the league.
12. Purdy - Usually see him ranked below the Top 10. I'll give him a generous #12 for his good games. He shares a lot of blame tho for that 3 game losing streak.

1/1/24. Top 10. One more week to go.... I can't see these changing much anymore.
10. Lawrence - Just a solid, decent QB. Nothing special.
9. Hurts - Since the Buffalo game, he's been dogshit. The only QB with a Top 3 receiver that can't crack the Top 5 or come close.
8. Stroud - He's been down a bit since midseason, but he'll run the AFC South pretty soon. It's gonna be Stroud dogging that division for 5 years.
7. Tua - If he beats Buffalo, he should be in the Top 5. If he doesn't.... then he'll have lost to every good team.
6. Purdy - Just that one guy I'm biased against (like I'm biased against Joe Burrow), but I'll give him Top 6. The Ravens game sunk him like 3 spots and he has no arm.
5. Stafford - That arm talent is impeccable, and he's still going strong after 16 years. The Rams are an excellent organization, but his success is still impressive since he's clearly shown how much better he is than Goff.
4. Dak - Bills game sunk him from the Top 2. But then Miami (he was good... not his fault they lost) and the Lions barged him back in the Top 3 or 4.
3. Mahomes - Down year, but he's still the man. And I think the Chiefs will win one game in the playoffs, against the Bills or Dolphins. Don't think they'll beat the Ravens or Browns tho.
2. Allen - Looked dead after the Broncos, but has resurrected himself. I even thought he was finished and the Bills' window was shut. But he has a chance this year.
1. Jackson - MVP.

There's something about Josh Allen that just feels a bit off. I know he has gaudy TD numbers, but a fair bit of those are rushing, usually close to the goal-line - not quite Hurts phony but close to it and completely vulturing TDs away from his 1000 yard runner in James Cook. Over this winning streak, his passing numbers have been aggressively mediocre - 55.56% completion rate, 3 TDs to 3 INTs, less than 200 passing yards a game - as the Bills have transitioned instead into a ball control offense and the defense has stepped up, especially in the secondary. I won't count out Allen, who we've seen be elite for several years and can definitely get hot assuming his non-throwing shoulder doesn't bother him, but he's not impressing me now when the Bills have been in playoff mode for a month.

The sports media establishment hates the jaguars and Trevor Lawrence (for being happy to go to the jags instead of demanding to go to New York) so much that they added an 11th spot just to slot in Stroud at Lawrence’s expense

No surprise at all that Bosa looks absolutely star struck in the clip, but I guess all those points Burrow won with progressives over his comments on abortion and gun control are null and void now just because he had the audacity to shake hands with a former president at a fucking UFC event. It is really not that serious

This seems to be the consensus Top 5. And I'd agree with that. Altho maybe I'd slot in Herbert in place of the playoff failures of Jackson and Dak.

Misses a year and still top 4 like a boss.........you can actually make a case that Jackson and Prescott may start to decline this year...........not saying they will but it's certainly possible ..........

I mean he's been to a conference championship in both years he's healthy so it's not surprising. Why do you think Jackson and Prescott might decline? I'm really just curious what you're thinking here. I don't think they're going anywhere imo. Personally, if there's a decline gonna happen.... imo it's Purdy. And actually I'd say Allen too just because his team might start sliding.... maybe the Dolphins might start coming up, and the Jets with Rodgers won't be a joke this year.

Yeah Burrow wins at every level so far when healthy and he's cool in how he carries himself.......it's good for football if Joe Burrow stays healthy and wins...........I dunno this continuingly failing in the playoffs must be wearying for Jackson and Prescott........we'll see ........basically I'm waiting to see what Kay Adams says .........I said this last year - the Ravens turned that game over to Jackson, gave up on the run, were at least as talented if not more so than the Chiefs, were at home and came up small and got outdueled by Mahomes.........like that's not just taking an L......that's taking several L's..........it would weigh on my head anyway.....

I'd go with the second list but switch Herbert in for Dak. Allen is not better than Mahomes, that's delusional. Maybe you could make an argument for Lamar, he might be better on his best day, but he's not better overall. Lamar's success is much more dependent on his legs than Mahomes so he's not going to last as long. Although Mahomes is also mobile he's good enough as a classic pocket passer to be good into his early 40's like Brady was even when he's old and slow. Don't think Lamar is going to decline as soon as next year though.
