Rear Window and Vertigo are much much better than 12 Angry Men and Sunset Blvd. And better than Singin in the Rain, altho SITR is an extremely iconic, unique, and entertaining classic in its own right.

In case you guys missed it, Seventh Seal and Paths of Glory was our highest tie, with Bergman just barely edging out Kubrick by receiving more votes. But most of the top 10 was incredibly competitive the whole time. For instance, #5 beat Seventh Seal by just two points...

Well, I find SITR slightly overrated. However, I disagree with half. I would rate 12AM, RW, and Vertigo about the same but SB is at least top 5 of that decade and better than those movies.

12AM is one I liked as a teenager but am a little afraid to watch again. Outside of Cobb's breakdown at the end it seems like it's just a combo of a civics lesson and standard murder mystery procedural.
