Woah, another great addition! Are there any parts left to cast or is that it?? If it's the former option then Marty, get Jim Carrey, or Nicolas Cage, or another great actor deserving of a comeback.

Multiple sources are confirming that shooting has finally wrapped on Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon.” The film has been shooting in Oklahoma since April.
A seven-month shoot for the 78-year-old Scorsese does sound quite taxing. Alas, he’s now off to the editing room, with the legendary Thelma Schoonmaker, for what will likely be another 6 or so months of editing. The film is an adaptation of David Grann's grisly murder-mystery novel, is set to star Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The screenplay, written by Eric Roth, takes place in 1920s Oklahoma and tells the story of a corrupt FBI investigation on Osage Indians who suddenly start to get murdered. There is currently no release date for “Killers of the Flower Moon,” but one assumes the possibility of a 2022 release primed and ready for Oscar season. www.worldofreel.com/blog/2021/9/3awe27bl7ec5qwizft30j9424gqh7p

I’m feeling an out of competition bow either in Cannes or in Venice for it.

Great news. Editing will no doubt take over 12 months though, so it probably won't be released until late 2022 or early 2023.

EDIT - Oops, sorry Mattsby, seems like we did this at the same time. Just leaving something else here.
A fall festival premiere perhaps?

It feels like a NYFF gimme (if not AFI), but man, I'd love for Scorsese to take this one to the Lido.

...it's mid-April and the film was projected to come out in Nov/Dec. Why would anyone be worried about him finishing by November right now?

And he is notoriously slow in his post-production. EDIT: Apparently I misremembered -- the reshoots are in May. But point still stands.

Could be simple pick-ups, could be reshoots of existing scenes, could be new scenes Marty came up with in the midst of editing.

True. I just hope it's not delayed a year.
