This is great. Probably the most I've ever seen Nolan laugh, and it's hilarious how much his introversion sharply contrasts with RDJ, who is just pure charisma here. Downey listening to pacinoyes' often raved - for their singles anyway - Sleaford Mods which the British guy doesn't seem (hmmmm?) to know is kind of cool........ngl Not as cool as him listening to Prokofiev!

Nolan actually went on The View lmao
Obviously wants to promote the film as much as possible with the strike happening, but still funny seeing him there

Christopher Nolan on The View sounds like it would have been an Onion article from ten years ago.

Would be fitting if RDJ wins for this since the last time he was nominated, he lost to a performance in a Nolan film.

I'm starting to think Barbenheimer shouldn't have been a thing. Folks like these are gonna ruin the film for the people who actually care about it It worked out. This is Nolan's first A cinemascore outside of Batman

She is trying so hard to make people think why the movie won't work coz she didn't like it and the movie's proving her wrong ever since the critics reviews dropped and it will prove her wrong again come Oscars season.

She is quite possibly the stupidest American commentator on film presently........which is really saying something

Grace Randolph is the worst. I'm terribly vexed by this demon being summoned to the small slice of heaven that is our board.

Grace Randolph is the worst. She and Armond White are the worst. Armond White is a great writer though - he periodically writes some of the best - and worst pieces of thought provoking film essays per year. In the last week he hated Barbie and Oppenheimer - and there's a lot of interesting, uniquely idiosyncratic ideas in both of those pieces that fans of those movies should seek out ..........he is merely a contrarian who kind of has a love / hate relationship with film..........but Randolph is rather an absolute idiot who can not articulate anything cogently or interestingly at all........ Everyone should from time to time read Armond White to be able to discuss film on some level..........Randolph rather should be avoided like the Plague

He hates everything and interjects his politics into the review. The guy literally missed the point of 12 Years a Slave. Both are bad in their own rights. Sorry, but I do not waste my time with people like that.

Your commentary is pretty off point.

82 Million is astonishing, especially for a 3 hours R-Rated biopic about the scientist who contributed to create the atomic bomb, but i wonder how much it would have made on opening weekend without the Barbenheimer effect.

He hates everything and interjects his politics into the review. That's fine - you can read whatever critic you like - however I'd say one of the reasons he puts his politics into every review is because no one else is like him at all to ever do it: African American, gay, elderly (now and when he became famous over 50), Conservative, Ivy League educated, overtly Christian.
He feels his voice is under-represented and he's totally right...........so he uses his "lived experience" in his reviews when others can not.......that's something to be respected not dismissed imo......it makes him a better critic because you understand his rationale ..................you'd be surprised at the films he likes also - he doesn't "hate everything" - he just hates most things I disagree with him often too btw www.mistdriven.com/critics/white.html
