"the walls of Jericho are toppling!" "let 'em topple!"
Wonderfully charming movie....with a gist refit into new eras and character types in some other underrated movies - The Sure Thing, Poetic Justice, etc.

Annie HallWoody Allen, 1977 128 points 8 ballots (#2 on 1 ballot) Well, this would have been probably my 1, but I think it's less a romance, and more a tale of an asshole.

Let's have a quick moment of silence to the ten that flirted with the top-50(51) - THERE WAS A TIE A lot of shocking snubs here, but CAROL missing is an abomination!!! Ok after this I will keep it to positive feedback only

Itās the only Allen movie that I voted for but he has made so many iconic/great romance movies (Manhattan, Purple Rose, Love and Death).

I lurve you, I loaf you...... I'm confused why the Woodys did so poorly here but whaddayagonnado.
I saw Manhattan a few years ago with live orchestra from the NY Philharmonic... probably the most romantic movie screening I've ever seen

Doctor Zhivago is way low, you guys are on drugs.
Yay for Rebecca, La La Land, Chungking Express, The Shop Around the Corner Manhattan, WALLE, Annie Hall, and City Lights making it

Sadly, it all likelihood it didn''t make it.

Ok one last negative comment... so grossed out by the inclusion of Manhattan.
Great presentation though!! I'm liking how many older films and films I've never heard of are included.

First time I watched āLe notti biancheā I thought Visconti didnāt have this kind of film in him, understated, simple and just natural. It is pure magic.

In The Mood For Love is a masterful romance. If anything it's ranked way too low.
