Eh, she's good, but the praise upon initial release felt a little bit insulting to all voice actors past.

I thought she placed wayyyyy too high the last time and at this rate she'll win when I do this next. I think she's good but #releasethemortoncut

I personally think Johansson's lovely and I fell for Samantha as much as Theodore did, and I totally think she's worthy of this spot.

Never thought I'd see Robin dethroned, but I personally think this is about where I'd have him.

I thought James Earl Jones would be a bit higher...

I really like Kiefer and put him on my ballot... but #4?

Sutherland just barely missed my own cut, but love that he's here. Would never have guessed this high. Dick move to the ending reveal's impact by the DVD cover. Whoever's call that was should have been fired.

One point over Robin, love these close calls. (Kiefer's best perf. )

HAL and Scar for the top two? Does this mean Mufasa missed? Wow.

It was a tough call not giving him my #1 spot. HAL's voice as he (it ) is shutting down is one of the most haunting things in cinematic history.

Irons said in one interview awhile back that he would gladly return to the character if it ever came up. I love Chiwetel in general, but what the hell, Favreau?

It was a fucking insult when they recast Scar for the 2016 film what the fuck this was LAST YEAR?!?!? remake. Not because Irons needed to be in it (because, let's face it, he dodged a bullet), but because he was just as iconic as James Earl Jones was, and to bring back Jones and not him just felt like Disney trying to hold fast to its nostalgia while jettisoning someone who was equally powerful in the part. I get the reason why they recast, and I don't think it was inherently a bad call, but bringing Jones back when he sounds more like Simba's grandfather just underlined it all the more.
Anyway, he's a worthy #1.
