Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro now sit at the top of another list. They are #1 and #2 with the most Oscar-nominated filmographies of all time.
1. Meryl Streep - 118 nominations 2. Robert De Niro - 111 nominations 3. Gary Cooper - 101 nominations 4. Paul Newman - 98 nominations 5. Jack Nicholson - 97 nominations
On the other list, Ralph Fiennes and Leonardo DiCaprio are at the top with the most Oscar-winning filmographies of all time.
1. Ralph Fiennes - 34 wins 2. Leonardo DiCaprio - 33 wins 3. Alec Guinness - 32 wins 4. William Holden - 29 wins 5. Meryl Streep - 28 wins
Disclaimer: It's very possible I'm missing some names or have the order wrong, but this is what I could gather from an old list I have saved from the IMDb days. I don't remember who compiled the list I have, but it was posted on IMDb by them and it seems fairly accurate going by the quick checks I've done.
