The poster alone is telling you it's Gaga's show. Everyone else goes supporting. I seriously doubt Driver will go Supporting. Before The Last Duel screened, I didn’t think he would, but with his chances for TLD looking slim, I think he could if House of Gucci is better received than TLD. I know there’s internal competition, but I think there’s enough room in Supporting for two actors from this to get in, if it’s well received enough which admittedly might be asking for too much.

Yeah that's a pretty big if. I don't have much faith in this project being good at all, and his best bet may very well end up being The Last Duel. I mean at the end of the day, I don't think he's getting in for either, but I'd be shocked if he doesn't get pussed Lead for this.

According to Variety, this'll premiere at the just-launched Academy Museum of Motion Pictures -- soonish? So it's going to Academy members before fests/previews, might vex critics but it's probably a better bet for Oscar play. Voters love to feel prioritized.

Apparently, it's 195 minutes long It's just something that somebody put on Wikipedia (presumably based on the test screening rumors). I highly doubt it's gonna be the case.

The latest blah blah blah from World of Reel - as always .......this is all ........allegedly A test-screening for Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci” occurred during the summer. The cut shown had no score attached with a source absolutely falling head over heels in love with it, claiming it had a “satirical sting to it”. She also elaborated that the audience was laughing quite hard during some of the scenes and that even detractors of Gaga’s acting will like her take on Patrizia Reggiani Gucci (“her accent is so ridiculous it works”).
However, much more intriguingly, to my eyes and ears at least, was that the cut shown at this screening ran around 2 hours and 45 minutes in length. Scott has been wrestling with different cuts for the film, but the rumored runtime does go well with the fact that Gucci is set in the span of three decades.
This all lends well to Justin Kroll’s tweet that an upcoming Oscar contender is set to clock in at the 3-hour mark. However, ‘Gucci’ was 15 minutes shy of the 3-hour mark in the Summer; did Scott add in an extra 15 minutes? Can’t be, right? It definitely can’t be “Don’t Look Up” because that one’s been test-screening at around 155 minutes. “Nightmare Alley” is 139 minutes. Would Spielberg dare make a 3-hour remake of “West Side Story”? Not too sure about that. What’s left? ‘Gucci’ or, drumroll please, PTA’s “Licorice Pizza.”Another kino in line to The Counselor. This is its spiritual sequel.

Seeing this tonight. I doubt the 195 minute rumor because the invites will usually let you know if the film is over three hours.

Not that I’m waiting for any information or anything. I did see on Letterboxd that two people who rated it tonight gave it very high ratings, and one of those that rated it really praised Leto which would seem to fit with someone that I trust saying that Leto will probably happen. They could be fake ratings, but they seem legitimate to me because of the timing and the fact that I don’t think it was well known at all that there was a screening tonight.

We were told that it was just under three hours. Probably around 2:50 - 2:55 based on when we got out, but I didn’t time it to know the exact runtime.

Would Lady GaGa set any Oscar records if she’s Nominated for her first two roles?

Would Lady GaGa set any Oscar records if she’s Nominated for her first two roles? She wasn't nominated for her first role, as she was in Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For before A Star Is Born (to say nothing of her cameo as herself in Muppets Most Wanted).

This looks like it could be so much fun. The costumes and sets look incredible, and Scott definitely has my attention more then ever after The Last Duel.
