Terry Funk and Randy Savage Sensational Sherry Not sure if you caught the Jim Cornette breakdown on Youtube (March 26th) of the first "5 Star Match" (1981) Lawler vs. Funk - it's a pretty great analysis and if you watch the actual match video (a must see but too short a match dammit) Cornette's the photographer you see snapping pictures ..... Watched this today! An absolute masterclass in brawling. Lawler is a GOAT tier worker as well, he has the best fundamentals of punching. I have rewatched a lot of Flair's stuff too and it's hard to argue against him as the 🐐. He wrestled everyone and always knew how to bring out a baby face' strengths.

Maybe not the best but guys who worked in a way I liked and entertained me in ring no real order after Flair. Also I loved AJ Lee who was amazing in live shows with how hard she worked - best sense of humor in the business .........and I mean a sense of humor in character, inside the ring not just on mic (where she was awesome too). Owen Hart.......Stan Hansen........Bobby Eaton......Bruiser Brody......Lawler could easily be on the list below..... Ric Flair Terry Funk Eddie Guerrero Bret Hart Terry Gordy Ricky Steamboat Nick Bockwinkel CM Punk (not kidding) Jushin Thunder Liger Harley Race

I haven't had a chance to see to much of Bockwinkle but did see his matches with Funk, Lawler and Curt Henning which were all great. Also great to see Eddie on there, his match with JBL at Judgement Day with all the blood reminded me of the NWA and Memphis classics I love so much. Don't think there has been a better match in WWE since. Not an easy match to watch but undeniably great. I would agree Flair is the GOAT and the wrestler of the decade in the 80's even though I love Funk more. Their feud and matches in 1989 is something you just don't see anymore and that was arguably 10 years after Terry's prime!

Personally I never thought I'd hear a wrestling crowd chanting "Thank you Vince" - what's next someone on MAR starts a "Thanks for all the wonderful memories, pacinoyes" thread? Inevitable Shane jumping of the top of a triple steel cage and putting Steph through a table to take control of the company - would like to see him have a harem with his dads (alleged) conquests ......kelly kelly, Summer Rae and multiple secretaries .....with Shane literally throwing money at them........what.......too soon? Give me one day running that company ........ONE DAY......I'd have it back in the gutter where it belongs

Any list without Shawn Michaels isn't a list at all... just watch any of his Wrestlemanias with either the Undertaker or Mankind.

I don't follow it like I used to - too many movies, albums, a job and too much booze coffee - but I keep one eye on it and I'm such a mark nowadays I cant tell if it's a work....I'm guessing it's not but it totally should be a work
This guy is one of the great mic workers ever with that straightedge stuff...... and he could be the King of Instagram - that "I never saw a Rocky movie" part was priceless.......this guy is a goldmine for a smart promoter and with his awesome wife he'd be a double goldmine
Love him - real, fake, whatever ....

RIP A top 5'er without a doubt - a great heel - nobody was as convincingly dangerous as Terry Funk for as long as Terry Funk was from the 70s through ECW He was also funny af - he had quite a knack in interviews of pretending to be nice when.....well....you know.....

God, what an absolute legend. One of the best to ever do it, so good for so long, and did movies too. Thanks for the memories, king.

More sad news. RIP Bray Wyatt. Such a talented performer and so young.
One of the greatest Wrestlemania entrances ever.
