Who´s your favorite male and female wrestler? I just stared randomly watching and was first courious hows it going with women there and from this video I think as a bit more talented is Mickie James. Love this moment around 7:10 how she kick her out of ring.

I haven't watched in many, many years... but I'll always remember the Shawn Michaels/Mankind matches. You take a guy who wasn't afraid to jump from up high and match him up with a guy who wasn't afraid to-- anything-- and you have some good ol' television. They really were two of the best ever (though apparently Michaels was a huge douche back in that era).

Anyone here watch All Elite Wrestling?
There are many alternatives to WWE, but AEW is probably its most accessible competition. It’s not perfect but it’s a fantastic mix of old school storytelling with new school guys. It also feels like a show that has a little bit of everything for everyone: tag team wrestling, technical wrestling, brawls, Japanese-style, comedy. It’s great.

Favorite male wrestler: Ric Flair sorry it's a cliche but there is a reason he's always voted the GOAT, you don't have to overthink it - Flair, Gretzky, Beer etc. some things are just obvious.
Favorite female wrestler : AJ Lee - great in the ring, insanely appealing and original persona, fabulous mic skills. Miss her to death - she's as a wrestler what this board weirdly thinks pale, whiter than Michael Jackson in 1987 Saoirse Ronan is as an actress........kidding, kidding.........or am I?
You'll never be able to lace up her Chuck Taylor's!

Love Terry Funk - usually the way I rank them is based on in ring, how well they could sell/put-over, mic work and their overall persona. The only drawback - and I mean literally the only drawback - to Terry Funk is he maybe couldn't sell for all types of wrestlers where Flair could put everyone over even pieces of furniture like Luger and Sting (Sean Michaels is also great at this.....). What's amazing about both Flair/Funk is they had such great late 80s matches and that was like literally 10 years past their primes even then - the best work those guys did is like literally pre-1980s imo.

Agreed, I loved both matches they had in 89. The closest match I have seen on that level was Austin vs. Bret at Wrestlemania 13 which reminded me of an NWA and Memphis style match. Usually WWE matches are a bit too polished and clean for me. One guy I loved was Eddie Guerrero, he could work so many different styles and his range was astonishing where he could work a lucha libre style with Rey Mysterio and tear it up in brawls with guys like JBL.

Terry Funk and Randy Savage Sensational Sherry Not sure if you caught the Jim Cornette breakdown on Youtube (March 26th) of the first "5 Star Match" (1981) Lawler vs. Funk - it's a pretty great analysis and if you watch the actual match video (a must see but too short a match dammit) Cornette's the photographer you see snapping pictures .....

Loved this man. Wrestlemania was never Wrestlemania without the Fink who actually came up with the name.

I will definitely check it out, thanks. I'll listen to anything Cornette says, especially his hatred for a Vince Russo 😂.

Worst wrestling character intro ever?......Fun to put on repeat during the pandemic and contemplate. I like how he trips and his "mask" made of tin foil and glitter (?) comes off ..........also, you know.......the improvisational dialog is really something:

What a disaster.

I don't follow the "sport" much so maybe this lady is famous - I dunno - but if she's not yet she soon will be. Her sexiest thing is at the end of this clip where she smiles at the referee for trying to raise his hand - and shakes her head like "yeah, nah don't try it". Possibly filling the hot satanic valet role that's been missing in my life: "Scarlett"

Luna was a great performer and this girl knows how to sell a lot of different stuff. I posted 2 pics of her in Celebrity Crushes today - apparently she's quite famous already (who knew?). This is her being less.....um...........sinister a few years back. She has a lot of great lines: "Shut up you 5's a 10 is speaking!" ......."Make wrestling sexy again!"........"I will not be hot shamed!" and The Smokeshow is a great nickname ........don't fnck it up Vince.......
