As for me, I'm playing The Last of Us. Just hit Winter. Solid game, not especially wonderful or anything, but good all the way around. I know it's late, but if you play on Grounded, that chapter is fucking hell.

I liked the majority of it, but the fight with David was the first time it truly felt like a video game. I was fighting a boss, instead of a real obstacle to survival. I wound up loving the game after I finished it. I was looking at it all wrong; trying the judge it as a game instead of an experience. The one time it really felt gamey, I. Got. PISSED. Especially since David pretty much got a free shot at me the moment I was done stabbing him, which just added to the cheapness of that fight.

Personally, the fight in the cabin and the electrical room is way harder since you play as Ellie, and a lot of her combat moves and weaponry are way worse than Joel's. Again, basing on Grounded. There is a good strat to beat David, props goes to PS4Trophies...

Playing Dark Souls.
I'm in Blighttown. I am searching for the bonfire, I know there's gotta be one somewhere. I get hit with toxic by an unseen sniper. I use my one toxic healing moss.
I get hit with it again.
I get within 10 steps of the nearest bonfire before succumbing.
My life is pain.

I get hit with it again. I get within 10 steps of the nearest bonfire before succumbing. My life is pain. Well, I actually managed to pick up my bloodstain and 10,000+ souls and get to that bonfire, so good job, me! I'm really digging this, actually. My only real experiences in dungeon crawling RPGs before this were the PS2 A Bard's Tale with its craptastic gameplay but fun setting (it's about Cary Elwes fucking every woman in the kingdom and bringing destruction to the land in his quest to get inside of a princess's pants), and Skyrim (which was just one big snooze). Dark Souls, on the other hand, has the most well designed battle mechanics that I've ever seen. I feel confident in saying that. There are some nitpicky problems, of course. The lock-on system is fidgety. The multiplayer means that you can get killed by invaders with a single swing. The multiplayer also means that your ally can kill a boss alone while you sit in the middle of a room trying to figure out why your crossbow isn't working (answer: you forgot to load any bolts into it!). But I absolutely adore that every weapon has unique properties, I adore the stamina system, I adore that for the first time, I'm playing a "difficult" game that is difficult because it was designed that way, and not because the mechanics make it impossible to win.

Currently playing the 1997 Blade Runner video game. Really enjoying it so far. I love how immersive it is.

100 hours into Persona 5. Just beat Palace number 4 (out of 8, I think). I'm taking my time.

Still on Dark Souls. But I'm seriously considering just giving up at this point. Once I began hitting the Crystal Caves with its invisible walkways and Tomb of the Giants which only lights up one step ahead of you at all times, it stopped being challenging and went over the edge into just plain stupid. If the game just focused on its fight mechanics, it would be a lot of fun.

Does anybody actually like Uncharted? I'm a couple hours in and already hating everything about it. I hated PS3 Tomb Raider as well (the only PS3 game I've played that seemed to be actively attempting to make me vomit), and this just seems like more of that, but with an annoying protagonist to boot.
Edit around 30 minutes of gameplay later: Screw it, I think this is even worse than Tomb Raider. I'm seriously considering just quitting this piece of shit right now and saving myself the frustration with its godawful everything.
