Just beat The Force Awakens II tonight. I remember getting this when it first came out and not liking it at all. I think I played maybe two hours of it originally and returned it the same day it came out. It was much better this time around. The gameplay for the most part is smooth and fun. It does get a bit tedious and some of the fights are annoying in that you get overrun by enemies that each can only be killed by a certain attack and they all are different attacks. You attack one and 3 others hit you from behind canceling your attack and taking a good chunk of health. Dashing around doesn't always work as sometimes snipers are far off in the back and hit you no matter what. The few times that happened it took a little bit to get past, but other than that and the final boss taking forever because of how repetitive it is I enjoyed it. The story was pretty cool. Glad it was free on Xbox One though. Still haven't gone back to TellTale Batman or Life Is Strange. Downloaded Darksiders today. Going to give that a try tomorrow. Beat Mass Effect: Andromeda again two days ago. Bidding my time until Injustice 2 comes out. Thankfully that is followed with Tekken 7 a week after. I thought Batman TellTale was way better than what most people find it... ho hum. It could even be one of my all time favorites. To put it into perspective.....Walking Dead > Batman > Wolf Among Us, major gaps between all. Looks like we're playing lots of similar games, I've played/am playing at least half of those.

I really enjoyed the first episode of Batman. I really have to be in the mood to play the Telltale games and those of that ilk. I will certainly finish it soon. Kind of have to because I'm certainly getting Walking Dead S3 as soon as episode 5 hits and flying through that game. Walking Dead > Tales From Borderlands > Game Of Thrones for me. Loved TWD and Borderlands. GOT was really good, but the other two are significantly better. I've only played the first episode of The Wolf Among Us. It was good, but didn't really do enough for me to want to go back to it.

Fallout 4 and I'm having a great time with it. Struggling to see what people don't like in it honestly, seems about as good as the previous two. Nearing the end of my first playthrough and I'll probably wait a bit then start it again to do the storylines I didn't do the first time.

I'm working on Maximo: Ghosts to Glory. I'm too laid back for this game. It was fun at first, but killing enemies is trial and error, the game introduces crazy new platforming segments without warning (usually when you're getting swarmed by three or four different types of enemies), AND YOU HAVE TO USE THE FRIGGIN' IN-GAME CURRENCY TO SAVE THE DAMN GAME. It's designed for the crazy masochistic people that say "it isn't a real video game unless you have to start from the beginning every time you lose."
I'll probably finish it (no way in the underworld am I going for full mastery points), but more out of obligation for shelling out ten bucks than actual enjoyment.

Been playing a lot of Garry's Mod with friends lately. Also Verdun. That game is quality.

I bought Skyrim Special Edition and Uncharted 4 a couple weeks ago, started Skyrim first, possibly a bad idea as I really want to play U4, but I'm a one game at a time kind of person so that the controls stick with me lol, just seems like an absolultey huuge game that might take me some serious playing time.

Man, you guys have a lot of time on your hands to play all these games AND watch movies and shows. Jealous.
Anyway, I'm finally getting back into playing video games now that I have some free time for myself. I just finished the first Uncharted, and now I'm about halfway through the second. Pretty solid games, but nothing I'd call "best ever" (yet, at least). The set pieces are incredible, though.
I also started Life is Strange a while back, but never got back into playing it. Felt like it'd be a time consumer. Would love to be proven wrong.
And I've also gotten my girlfriend into NHL games, so I've been playing those on the side.

Spreading my time between replaying Banjo-Kazooie (one of my favorite games of all time), and Grabbed by the Ghoulies. I love old-fashioned Rare.
Been meaning to get back into Life is Strange and The Witcher 3.

Just got back into gaming recently, played through Inside and Journey back-to-back (both fantastic), and I've been trying to keep up with Bloodborne as well. Really great RPG, challenging and frustrating as all hell, but that just adds to the fun for me.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. That one's great, Guns of the Patriots is better.

Finally played through Rayman 2 (never finished it back in the day, I think because it stopped working). I had an old PC Version on my pc which I couldn't start. So I emulated the Dreamcast Version which worked reasonably well.
It's an incredible platforming game, mainly because of the fantastic game world and the variation in the gameplay (each level is unique). Parts of the world are just pure bliss and it's spot on atmosphere all the way through. I do like the 3rd one better though because they 1upped the world design and took it to pretty incredible levels imo (it's incredibly imaginative, really). Particularly Land of the Living Dead just gives me the chills. The 3rd one is legitimately among the best designed things I've ever played.
I should finally play through the first maybe but it frightens me (I know I played a few levels way back in the day but I never got remotely far into it). Anyone has experience with playing through it? (I'm definitely planning to use the 99 lives cheat because I don't want to spend time farming them)

I decided to start Bioshock before going to sleep. I then realized that I wouldn't be going to sleep. Kickass music, though.

I just recently starting playing Overwatch again and Nuzlocking Omega Ruby. As Fish has yet to deliver on his Gen 2 playthrough experience, I demand a through rundown of your Nuzlocke. I'd give you a play by play but it's been really slow going cause I keep forgetting where I left my DS and then when I find it I don't know where my charger is. And I'm not that far into it yet either, but I can give you the brief recap: My internet-based 3 sided die determined I'd be starting with Treeko. When I got it, I noticed it was female, which is the first time I've ever had a lady-starter. I named her Belizard, in honor of Belinda Carlisle and cause she's a lizard. My first catch was a Taillow. I named her Tailor Dane, and she is a miracle bird. I then caught in the shaking grass a Poochyena named Ruff Boy. He knows Thunder Fang and is important. Shortly after I caught Seedorothy the Seedot who I've never used, and Saoirskit the Surskit, who was the first casualty of the run, victim to a random crit from a Zigzagoon or some nonsense. RIP Saoirskit. Belizard vine whipped Roxanne into debris, and I sailed to that island place. There I caught Slapmaster the Makuhita and Tailor Dane murdered everyone in the punch gym. Then I went to the next place that I don't know what it's called, bullied some toddlers on a beach and stole all their money, and caught Voltorbjorn. This is actually when The Late Saoirskit got lated, and was replaced by Mug the Volbeat, who will be very temporary. That's as far as I've gotten so far.

Hoo boy, I remember that game. Long and dull, but it killed time. I think a similar battle system was used better in the Shadow Hearts games ( Covenant remains as one of my all time favorites) As for me, I'm playing The Last of Us. Just hit Winter. Solid game, not especially wonderful or anything, but good all the way around.

I just ordered Dark Souls. If every single review I've read is anything to go on... may God have mercy on my soul.
