Honestly cannot wait, definitely one of my most anticipateds for the rest of the year. Kidman looks sensational.

I'm intrigued by the Kidman buzz, but I despised Kusama's last film and I've heard some rumors about the story/approach that give me a lot of pause (i.e. someone saying it has a third-grader's idea of what a noir should be).

I like Kidman (not to the level that some do on here which is honestly a little weird/extreme to me) but everything about this performance seems just like a performance only. Kusama makes stuff like this all the time - high concept provocateur stuff and if you say it rings false (like The Invitation) that just means you don't get it but don't ever speak badly about our high minded filmmaker.
Leaving my mind open on this but the plot description even rings false.

Even if it isn't the awards-contender I thought it'd be, I'm just dying to see it. It looks completely different from everything Kidman has ever done.

The committed lead performance (looks great) aside how does any of this appear remotely believable? Same 2 writers and the same director as the preposterous, ugly The Invitation (88% Fresh on RT, yeah right).

All due respect to Streep or Huppert or whomever, but right at this moment, this is the best working actress on the planet. Looks fucking phenomenal.

I was able to see this film early! This is yet another devastating, incredibly moving performance from Kidman to add to her ever expanding character portrait gallery.

I'm still skeptical because I loathed The Invitation, but yeah, I've been intrigued by this for awhile now and this trailer is phenomenal. Really looking forward to it, and I hope that Kidman can make a dent in the Lead Actress field as I was originally predicting her to.

I'm genuinely surprised that most everyone loved the trailer. I think it looks like shit.

Her transformation will certainly have people talking, but it's a competitive year, and the Christmas release date probably won't work in her favor... We'll see.

Kidman's You Were Never Really Here! Fuuuck, this looks good. Haunting, gritty vibe that I'm always down for, and this definitely looks an incredible transformation for Kidman - could potentially be one of her very best. Kusama is still a slight question mark for me, as I've only seen The Invitation, where there was clearly talent on display but it all kinda went nowhere. Here's hoping she's got a stronger grasp here, and this turns out to be as good as it looks!

This looks really good, but I'm not sure that the Academy will go for it.

Not surprised that Kidman is indeed great, but how good's the film in general? I got to see Roma, The Favourite, Destroyer, Wildlife, and Vox Lux!!! The film is a tough sit, but it's satisfying, if not really compelling. Kidman's performance certainly elevates it.
