Gene and Clint in Unforgiven. The rest of 'em are no great shakes save for Jolie.

Swank and Hackman, with Freeman being an alternate for Million Dollar Baby. Still haven't seen Invictus or Madison County, but I don't care for most of the rest of these. It's still pretty funny that Eastwood got two nominations.

Sometimes I think I might actually prefer it to Sophie's Choice.

I've only seen Million Dollar Baby and Changeling, but I'll go with angeolena joly, who is my win. She just wants her kid back!

Also I'm still having a hard time understanding the poll. Has the OP not seen any more Eastwood movies?

Also I'm still having a hard time understanding the poll. Has the OP not seen any more Eastwood movies? The series is specifically to vote for the best of the Oscar nominated performances directed by the particular director.
So these are the dozen or so Clint has directed.

Only seen it twice but it has absolutely annihilated my heart both times and reduced me to an absolutely sobbing mess. I had no idea what to expect when I turned it on and it destroyed me. My fave Eastwood movie.
