Hi Franklin, can you post you the article on the "Secret Oscar ballot" thread? Lets get a running total.
It's from Variety by Clayton Davis I think I posted that article.

Come on Fease, those things are fake, what's the point. I agree. Even if it is true, the sample size is too small. We all know the winner is going to have the letters Stone in them.

There is no Hüller surge. Clayton Davis is a damn liar. Even if he wasn’t lying. It’s 4 ballots out of 10,000…

I think at this point Emma Stone herself and her publicist probably would prefer not to win. She's already been dragged through the mud for being the frontrunner all season very much like Blanchett was last year.

Emma Stone being a two-time Best Actress winner by the age of 35 is the shit dreams are made of. She'll want that bad. I don't think she'll give a flying fuck about any criticism if she's holding that statue on Oscar night

It's pretty obvious just how much Emma is rooting for Lily.

I doubt Stone's team cares about the TROLLS at Film Twitter. They are always going to find someone to HATE on.
That said, I don't think she wants it that bad. She has won before and being a 2-time Oscar winner at 35 isn't that big a of deal. It's been done.
Now, if Billie Eilish wins, she will make Oscar history as the Youngest 2 time winner - ever.

Yeah this is pretty much how I feel. She doesn’t need nor particularly desire a second Oscar at this stage in her career.

The way I see it is, Stone's legacy is secure and a second win (no matter how richly deserved) isn't going to do much for her career at this point because she's already one of the dominant creative forces of her generation and one of the most in-demand actresses alive. She's branching out into different media (stage and television) to great acclaim, and now she's actually producing projects and gained an Oscar nomination for it. A second win would be the cherry on top, but I think she's a huge success story this year regardless if she gets a trophy or not. Poor Things did exceedingly well at the box office for the type of movie it is, it netted her two Oscar nominations (the second person to ever do that for producing and acting after Frances McDormand, who is exactly the sort of person to emulate for career longevity), she got great notices for The Curse and still could be in contention for the Emmy next season for it.

Gladstone I guess will win.......who should win....... Stone obviously........I say this constantly - make up wins / career wins are not only fine, they are often more fine than merit based wins....Paul Newman deserved to beat Bob Hoskins brains out even though Bob Hoskins was obviously better ......tough break, he's Paul Newman.........now if you don't believe that, then to me by logic you can't believe Gladstone "deserves" to beat Stone - she's not nearly as good......her win would not be based on merit (imo).....but do I begrudge her the win? Nope, I didn't begrudge Michelle Yeoh beating Blanchett either ........it's just an Oscar.......it's not important.....you either buy it as meritocracy or accept it as a farce.........it's better to embrace the farce

Even Kate Winslet is on the Red carpet promoting her new show, gushing about Gladstone's SAG speech.
This feels like it may be a wrap.

Call me crazy but I thought Emma was better in both La La Land and The Favourite. (Which she was lead) Stone was great like she always is. There was nothing she did that surprised me or did anything I assume she would not be able to do easily. Gladstone on the other hand literally startled me with her grief. Gladstone is the performance of the year for me regardless of gender or category. (Randolph as close)

She should do a serious crime story next... Gangster Squad simply didn't happen.

Stone. Gladstone is lucky to be nominated, and that's a fact. Huller is the best performance of the category. Lol I said that too about Gladstone lucky to be nominated

Ah, I see we're doing the "Gladstone wasn't even worthy" thing now. Knew this would happen. Sad.

Ah, I see we're doing the "Gladstone wasn't even worthy" thing now. Knew this would happen. Sad. If it makes you feel any better, they are 2 of the most braindead fucks on this board and they know literally LESS THAN NOTHING about what makes good acting. I was rooting for Stone as I thought she gave THE PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR, so I'm ECSTATIC about her win (sorry), but I thought Gladstone was amazing as well and is actually my SUPPORTING win. Category fraud took her down sadly. I'm firmly in the camp of she 100% would have SWEPT Supporting over Randolph all through award season and won that Oscar just as easily.

Ah, I see we're doing the "Gladstone wasn't even worthy" thing now. Knew this would happen. Sad. I legitimately didn't think she had remotely enough to do in KoTFM to win a leading actress Oscar. That she got as close as she did is somewhat surprising to me.
