ALL OF THE YES!!!
And Netflix had better put their A-team on the marketing and distribution of this one. It'd be the coolest damn thing if they could manage to get Orson Welles or John Huston a posthumous Oscar nomination.

YEEEEAAAAHHH. Welles is a master. His films - and his life - are worth studying.

Yeah, there's zero chance of that happening. Maybe cinematography or something, but even that's a huge long shot. I'm happy we get to see this, but let's remember that the history of other people editing Orson Welles' films isn't exactly great.

First screening was held on January 16"More than a rough cut, but not a final product" Also classify this as just rumor, but I know a guy who knows the guy who runs Wellesnet and he's hearing Michel Legrand will be doing the score.

This feels like a blend of 8 1/2 and The Master.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is gonna suck.
Also, I was totally expecting an appearance by The Great Red Dragon with that drum score.

Has someone shot extra material for this? Cause some shots look kinda digital... But hey, this looks awesome. Didn't expect the vibe to be this bonkers

"What he creates he has to wreck, it's a compulsion."
This is sure to be something experimental and unbound, in form. Trailer is crackling and looks great. Let's dont underestimate this last major role from John Huston! His casting was an ace choice - in a rare case where Welles wasn't acting in a project he directed. The role might've been too close to him: a volatile, ridiculed, misunderstood, over-the-hill director.
Can't wait.
