I still think she's got a shot at a supporting nod, because let's be real, SAG set off a pipe bomb in the category and we can't get any real bearing out of that except that the Favourite girls are secure and Adams looks safe (I'm keen to see what BAFTA does with her), but I expect King to back with some reactionary correction at other awards bodies, leaving the fifth slot open. If Robbie hits BAFTA, I think she's in. I feel Blunt's support will go to her pending leading nomination, but if she gets in supporting at the Oscars then I'd say she has a very strong shot of winning Best Actress with that level of support (although how hilarious would it be for her to win for A Quiet Place?). Kidman needs BAFTA more than any of them, though. Missing SAG was a tough blow because they generally like her.

I think she's still in both races, though the SAG missed were obviously a major blow to her momentum. The fact that Regina King missed SAG (and she was the bloody frontrunner) is in a way helpful to Kidman in supporting. Feels like there will be quite a few surprises left on nomination day. If the frontrunner can miss, anything is possible.
Lead is a tough nut to crack, but the Globe nod helps a lot, and it may start being seen by voters at the right time (heard some stuff about Annapurna being late with Destroyer screeners to SAG).
Whatever happens, she's had a very solid awards run for two movies that have little traction outside her performances. And getting great reviews for Aquaman as well.

Adams looks safe (I'm keen to see what BAFTA does with her) They love her. If she could be nominated for American Hustle and Big Eyes, she's gonna be nominated (and most likely win) for Vice .

I still think Weisz (who doesn't have a competitive BAFTA) has the advantage there, especially if they go hard for The Favourite. They do like Adams, but I am curious if Vice will play well across the pond.

Sadly I'm leaning towards neither right now, though I'd still say she's very much on the cusp (hovering around the 6-8th mark) in both categories. I'd love for her to get in for Destroyer, though Boy Erased feels a little more likely. She's never really been nominated for her more exciting, out-there stuff, so a nod for Destroyer would really be something to celebrate. We'll have to see.

The poll results are absolutely shocking! I thought she was a lock for a double nomination. Poor thing
