Well that was nuts... I cannot believe that Fury got up from that. While I do believe that technically Fury should have gotten the decision I’m not to upset because 1. I don’t really like the way boxing matches are scored anyways and 2. They were gonna have a rematch anyways.
Fury won that fight. Have no clue how it came to a draw. That judge that gave Widler 8 rounds needs to be checked. He won 3 rounds (at most). Classic fight (probably best fight I’ve seen live) ruined by the judges. Pathetic. So fucking pathetic. Fury controlled the pace the entire fight, hit more shots (both power and jabs), and hit them at a higher percentage.
Fury rising from the dead after he got knocked down in the 12 round is an all time great sports moment.
Wish I caught it... but I'd probably be just as mad as I was with the Canelo/GGG 1.
Talk about a fucking horrible judge, that lady was either blind or the worst at trying to appear unbiased.
Dude, as someone that’s watched both, it was even worse than Canelo/GGG 1. I know Wilder dropped Fury twice (the first time he got dropped he got up quick), but Fury quite clearly won. The judge that gave Wilder 8 rounds had him winning the first 4 rounds. There’s no way in hell that someone can watch that fight and think Wilder won the first 4 rounds (especially an expert).
My buddies (who were supporting Deontay) couldn’t believe it. Ruined what could’ve been solidified as one of the best sport comebacks.
One of the greatest comebacks in sport history. So happy for Fury. I didn’t expect him to actually go forward with his “I’m going to be the instigator and K.O Wilder” game plan but god damn did it ever work. He just laid that 40 pounds of extra weight on him.
Hope Wilder is alright. A lot of what he was saying after the fight was incomprehensible.
