Both Cooper and Gaga were both absolutely fantastic and roughly on the same level, though I'd maybe give Cooper the edge. I've never been a big fan of him, but I was really won over by him here.
As for the others, I really liked Elliott and Clay, and Chappelle was very solid in his scene. Everyone was good apart from British manager guy.

As great as Gaga is, and as much as I am obsessed with ACTRESSING, Elliott and Cooper are just phenomenal here. Gaga has a few uneven moments, while they are both veterans and flawless here. This is not to say Gaga isn't great - she is! Just a bit rougher around the edges.

Well Gaga varied between sometimes quite good and sometimes rather bad bad. Cooper kept it steadily decent, with the occasional highlight, but his choice of accent and lack of clear diction, kinda ruined his performance a bit. Sam Elliot was fucking atrocious so not him. The other two lads were forgettable and nothing more. So, who who was best...well, none of them deserve to be described as best. I guess overall, Cooper was the most consistently ordinary from the choices, so he wins by default. I would say Willam Belli was probably the MVP.

To me without Lady Gaga no one would care about this version, at all. I don't know if that makes it "the best" performance but she's the secret sauce in this very stale recipe.
Other than her there's nothing that special here......
