I haven't seen ASIB but Jonah Hill continuously does what Bradley Cooper until now at least never has - he surprises you, he comes at roles in odd, unexpected angles and ways. Jonah Hill in Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot is better than Cooper's whole career and that's not his best work either.
I am quite sure Cooper will one day win an Oscar - maybe this year even - but without seeing ASIB, to really look at his work and to quote the Smiths......... he just hasn't earned it yet, baby.

Cooper is a mediocre dramatic actor that Hollywood has worked really hard to make "happen" as a leading man because he looks the part. Not a particularly a fan of Hill, but he was funny in his early bro comedies and has turned into a solid character actor.

Hill, although I can't abide either of them for the most part.
