20th Century Women was absolutely amazing. Brilliantly written, acted, directed and the editing was so good too.
I also think that someone of the visuals were really excellent too, not far from being my #1 of the year.
NS Elle, but glad it did so well

Kubo is fantastic visually, but the story isn't very good. Slightly better than Zootopia.
I liked Sing Street. It's an ordinary movie...
Nocturnal Animals is very good and underrated IMO. The cast is great especially Mikey

Really inventive film, one of my favourite animated films of the decade. Love the screenplay and world design.

Loved the screenplay and ensemble, but I don't think I'm a fan of some of Mill's directorial choices, like his EXCESSIVE use of songs.

Very happy for Zootopia! Very upset at Elle's high placement, but I was expecting that...

20th Century Women is pretty great and thought-provoking, but didn't have as much staying power as I would have liked. I like its placement overall.
Zootopia's just a ball and I love the support this board showed it. One of Disney's best and most clever films in a while.
Hacksaw Ridge is too high. I was really impressed by the battle sequences and Garfield, but the first act is a real slog, and there's some really heavy-handed symbolism and dialogue throughout.

Glad The Lobster isn't any higher. It's a great concept and I thoroughly enjoyed the first hour or so, but Weisz and the entire third act in general drag it down considerably.
