Just curious if it’s worth checking out? I streamed it on the AMC website when it first came out. It's basically THE BIG LEBOWSKI without the suspense/thriller elements. Wyatt Russell in particular comes off almost beat-for-beat like he's playing a younger version of The Dude. But he has his dad's natural on-screen charm so it works beautifully. The girl who plays his sister's terrific too, most of the supporting cast is quite winning. It's a light breezy offbeat dramedy with a clever sprinkle of fantastical & surreal elements (like the "Fargo" TV series). Be warned, though, it's a VERY slow burn and can get a bit boring at times. But the awesome cast and engrossing characters made it a very fun watch for the most part, with some big laughs along the way and the fantasy elements make for a few of the most creative & memorable moments in TV this year. I'd definitely recommend it.

I was never a fan of any of his stuff before, but he is terrific in "Lodge 49" and is VERY reminiscent of his dad when he was really young.

Took me a few episodes to really get into but it’s pretty good. There’s nothing at all like it on tv right now, both surreal and grounded, and I think the chemistry between Wyatt Russell and Brent Jennings is great. Bruce Campbell also pops up in a few episodes. Happy it’s been renewed for season 2 in spite of its low ratings.
