Really awesome list that definitely gets your taste across, and also a lot of my favorites here (even if some are very much supporting for me, like Robert Walker, Henry Fonda, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ray Winstone, etc.). But I get they're kind of borderline.
Some choices I really love: Harry Baur in '34, Victor Sjostrom in '21, Cotten in '43, Bogie in '48, Stewart in '50, Goldblum in '86, Crowe in '97, Cage in '03, Bardem in '10, and of course Sellers in '64. A lot really.
Quite a lot I still need to see, though, too.
Great montage, as always!

So awesome. Love how Dujardin brings it almost full circle back to the silent era ones. Normally I'd probably say "Love that you included ______" but that would be like 95% of them. Like Captains Courageous. And Angels with Dirty Faces. And Shadow of a Doubt. And Lorre. And Fonda. And Mason. And Scheider. And Neill. And Turturro. And Blake. God, this list is amazing. I had no idea you liked Cage in Matchstick Men so much. I finally just got Naked on Criterion last week. Very eager to check it out after the constant love I've been hearing for years. Also, maybe I spend too much time here, but that shot of Holden in Stalag 17 is now forever synonymous with Fish's avatar.
