There's going to be either one black woman on this list or none. At this point, probably none. But honestly speaking, with the exception of Cicely Tyson, I don't see any who truly deserves to be on a GOAT top 30 list, there are too limited by the lack of great roles. But that being said, many actresses already mentionned don't deserves to be here either, so someone like Viola Davis or Angella Bassett could have been here too.

Honestly, if Meryl Streep is #1, I'm going to scream fuck. I love Streep, and even though she's in my top 10, I'm kind of sick of her being in the winner in all these polls.

There's going to be either one black woman on this list or none. At least Adjani 's father is African. He's not African but Algerian / Kabyle . So more like Arab.

Barbara Stanwyck perhaps one of the most insanly watchable american actress of her time and some terrific pre-code works, deserves her place.

Northern Africa yes but Arabs are actually not considered as Africans per say . In France for instance , we make the distinction between Northern Africa (that we call "le Maghreb" ) and the rest of Africa. Arabs from Algeria , Marrocco and Tunisia don't consider themselves as "African". ps : yes , i know it has nothing to do with her looks

I had said once before that my listes were made up of a combo of talent, personal preference, importance in and of themselves or for films and singularity/uniqueness.........based on that, I was expecting Keaton to contend for the win, instead I guess I look forward to the parade of ice queens who ranked higher.
Hurumph

Hurumph Keaton was sitting pretty in the 11 - 15 range for about three quarters of this, then she just started to fall away.

Audrey Hepburn...can't say anything bad about that woman/actress, so yeah, why not. Not (that high) for me but why not. Time to rewatch The Nun's Story maybe.

Surprise Kerr made it. I didn't know this board watched 50s movies beyond Bette Davis, Vivien Leigh, and Gloria Swanson (for that one performance.... Sunset Blvd.).

#17 (Tie): Elizabeth Taylor Points: 165 No. of Ballots: 13, #3 on 1 Ballot “I don't entirely approve of some of the things I have done, or am, or have been. But I'm me. God knows, I'm me.” #17 (Tie): Gena Rowlands Points: 165 No. of Ballots: 12, #1 on 1 Ballot [on working with Bette Davis]” When they offered that part opposite her, I didn't want to do it. I thought, what if all my illusions were broken? But I couldn't resist the temptation. She's no pussycat, she's just a great and independent artist and I loved every minute working with her.”

Queen Gena ! Hoped better but still okay..
However Liz Taylor has no business being here, no matter how good she was in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
