If an actor won a Daytime Emmy for acting on a soap opera in addition to winning an Oscar and a Tony (for acting), would you consider that actor a Triple Crown winner?

Yes and they do (Whoopi Goldberg - an EGOT winner!) Goldberg's Emmy and Tony are not for acting, though.

An Emmy for acting is an Emmy for acting. Doesn't matter if it's on a primetime slot or not.

The Triple Crown is becoming a fascinating way our culture currently sucks - like that is dropped as a shorthand way to convey importance, the same way they say "Multiple Oscar Winner!" (that's how you know they're good the Academy gave them two awards not just one because that can mean you really still suck)..........or my favorite current one "Rated xx on Rotten Tomatoes!" ..........because if 96% of critics (ha!) like it who are you to say anything?
The culture has always had this stuff but now it has it in more short, succinct catch phrases.........just a personal pet peeve

I wouldn't consider an emmy any kind of achievement.

Also, at times I've seen better acting in British soap opera's than in films that won acting Oscars or Screen Actors Guild Ensemble Awards.
