1. The Last of Us 10/10, masterpiece
2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves 8/10, fully captures the "cinematic" feel that the first failed at so miserably
3. Batman: Arkham Asylum 8/10, a fun MGS type stealth game that doubles as a fun exploration piece. Hand to hand fighting is pretty good too, before Arkham City threw it all down the shitter.
4. Batman: Arkham City 5/10 Makes the mistake of thinking that bigger is better. The sandbox exploration just made it dull, because there's no more intelligent thought put into when specific subplots should happen. The fights all boil down to "kill three dozen guys with overly complex fight mechanics," since the environment is now too large to use as a stealth killing tool. Throw on top of that that 90% of the game is now punching guys (with 9% being flying from place to place) and you've got a mess that intermittently remembers how good Ayslum was and recreates the magic.
5. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune 4/10, it's pretty much a bad Crash Bandicoot game
6. Tomb Raider (2013) 2/10, one of the most actively unpleasant experiences I ever forced myself through

The Walking Dead: Season 1 - 10 (tied for my favorite game of all time. I'm so thankful I had the experience)
Life is Strange - 9.5 (In my top 5 of all time. Only reason I don't give it a 10 is because when compared to The Walking Dead it feels a bit lesser)
Batman (Telltale) - 8 (a bit minor Telltale. But it's still very entertaining if adding not a whole lot new to the Justice League platform. When are they gonna release a Justice League Telltale game? Waiting)
Tales from the Borderlands - 7.5 (I can honestly see what people could like about it. I'll try it again someday, I think there's a great game hidden there that bypassed me)
Life is Strange: Before the Storm - 7 (a far lesser prequel. Not really much of a climax apart from that mother who's not utilized fully anyways)
The Last of Us - I've tried it but got stopped with the flesh eaters. Haven't gotten anywhere near finished yet. I think it's a fun game navigating through elements of an assumed post civilized society. Not sure where it stands out, but of course still very early into it.
I'm so early into these that I have absolutely no comment:
Grand Theft Auto V Beyond: Two Souls

Life is Strange - 9.5 (In my top 5 of all time. Only reason I don't give it a 10 is because when compared to The Walking Dead it feels a bit lesser) I'm in the minority when I say it, but I actually don't like Life is Strange that much. I don't know it must be the dialogue and plus interactive games aren't really my thing. I'll admit, I only partly played for the easy plat. "5. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune 4/10, it's pretty much a bad Crash Bandicoot game 6. Tomb Raider (2013) 2/10, one of the most actively unpleasant experiences I ever forced myself through" I couldn't disagree more. I love both of those games. I'm surprised to see someone dislikes an Uncharted game although that could be the worst game in the series (maybe aside from Lost Legacy). But there you go. As for TR, well I never played the original but since I love Uncharted and open world games, yeah. I got into it. Not necessarily in my top ten.

As for TR, well I never played the original but since I love Uncharted and open world games, yeah. I got into it. Not necessarily in my top ten. The first Uncharted really felt like Crash Bandicoot with bad shooting mechanics. You've got the jet ski levels, the rail shooter levels (Crash Bandicoot's wasn't a rail shooter but rather a "run away from monster while avoiding obstacles" kind of thing -- they're very similar), the platforming levels... And the shooting. Ugh, the shooting. I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't like Arkham City: you're just given wave after wave after wave of enemy and all you do is shoot until you're out of ammo, run and grab some bullets, hide, shoot, repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat... And finally, I didn't like the story. It was trying to be all fun and silly but it just got grating having to listen to Drake's terrible one-liners and flippant attitude. Uncharted 2 improved upon this, but not too much; most of the fixes were to making the game more like The Last of Us that would follow it up, and less like Crash Bandicoot. To be clear, I do like Crash Bandicoot, I just found Uncharted 1 to be a half-assed version of it. As for Tomb Raider: The fighting mechanics are decent, but the quick time events were stupid and CONSTANT. The exploration/survival feels pale next to MGS3. The story is one of the most ludicrously stupid and annoying in video game history. The puzzles are mediocre jumbles that rely on too-fidgety controls. But more than anything, I circle back to the story of the game. Or the atmosphere. Uncharted could pretend that it was a good time (even if it was lazy about it). Tomb Raider wanted to be serious and gritty while being just as idiotic, and it didn't work for me.
