So I watched the first episode... can't say I'm impressed in any form. I don't think I want to continue. Please tell me this is not Jonah Hill

Just finished this. I liked it a lot. Not as great as I wasn’t hoping it’d be, but it was pretty damn good. The performances were all great and the technical aspects were all great. There were a handful of times were the more ‘out there’ moments were really goofy (Hill’s voiceover with the Hawk comes to mind) but those are just minor complaints. Started strong, ended strong. It was a lot funnier than I expected it to be too.
I’d give it a 7.5/10. Only episode I didn’t care for at all was the 6th or 7th one. I forget which.

******SPOILER ALERT*********This scene sold me. The music, the acting, the closure. Emma Stone is my Emmy winner so far. Say What You Really Mean

Apart from Emma who was fantastic,Sonya Mizumo and Justin Theroux were the real standouts for me.

Just finished this, and found it to be a very mixed bag overall. I really don't think this needed to be as long as it was, too many uninteresting detours... this show is basically a mess, but it had enough of an idiosyncratic personality to keep me watching. It's got a lot of superficial pleasures to appreciate like the humor, set design, music, etc. but I don't think it really did anything all that interesting on a thematic level. Ultimately everything was at the service of a kind of mawkish, banal emotional backbone posing as something deeper. As others have said, Stone really shines here and she's a pleasure to watch. The ending was sweet, but was anyone reminded of The Graduate? 6.5/10 or something
