Coppola's casting was well nigh perfect in the 70's, and got less so later on. Dracula could have been outstanding, but he cast Keanu Reeves in a central role that he couldn't pull off, and it hurt the movie. Godfather 3 had flaws apart from the casting, but Sofia Coppala's casting was lethal to it's overall quality.
I'll go with Dracula. It's ambitious and fun, flaws and all.

Poor old francis, Only one decade of glory... On the other hand, it was the best decade anyone ever had so it's poor everyone else really. He's only made a couple of outright bad films post-70s (Jack, Life Without Zoe) but he hasn't made an overwhelmingly great one - Dracula, GF III, Tetro, Tucker are all very good and at their best are welcome reminders of his genius (the opera sequence-the end in Part III is like 40 minutes and can stand with anything in the first two). But Rumble Fish is the one complete success and mixes artistry, ambition, personal themes and style - it's very close to great.......and no one else could have made it but him.

I think a lot of this work (not all, sure) is really good, at the very least really interesting, and most people would be proud to include most of it in their canon. For this guy it just looks disappointing compared to what came before. I'd probably give Tetro the edge.
