Seems like more and more theaters near me are switching over to recliner seats... not sure how I feel.
It's nice to not be in danger of having a big ass head in your way while you're watching a movie, but I'm not sure I like "reclining" much in public. And the seats don't feel right if you leave them upright... idk, I felt strange watching Phantom Thread all sprawled out.
how do you feel about them?

Completely indifferent to it.
It’s nice having the comfy and adjustable seating (it was nice to raise my feet without being totally stretched out), and I never felt more relaxed in a theater than watching Ready Player One. But that home touch still feels a little weird in the theater setting.
On a more personal note, it was really annoying when I had to shimmy around other people who didn’t lower their seats out of courtesy, like I tried to do, but people were so impatient that they rammed into my feet, and then glared at me like it was my fault.

Very relatable... lol. When I saw Ready Player One there was only one old lady in my row, and of course she was all sprawled out. I shimmied past her and she gave me one of the dirtiest looks I've ever received.

I'm always down for a nap Lmao! There have been countless people snoring behind me during a film. Could be the time I go see the films mind you — I tend to go late at night. Hopefully nobody drowns out the sound of my showing of ‘A Quiet Place’ in an hour.

No reason to be against it. It's not annoying like people coming in to serve food all through the movie.

I'm all for it, I'm the guy who'll take the shoes off as well.

Nay
Sit up straight ya lazy bastards. Seriously though, I don't want to pay 10 quid or more to see a film and then risk falling asleep because I'm too comfy.

Oh honey, for what goes on in those back rows they should have beds, showers, towels & hairdryers!..
...Of course, not that I would know... as I always sit on the front row so I can wave at everyone... No, it's not annoying!

Hopefully nobody drowns out the sound of my showing of ‘A Quiet Place’ in an hour. That happened to me during Early Man, a guy was stretched out across three or four seats in the back snoring. He wasn’t close enough that it was distracting, though.

Yes I guess. I really couldn't care less honestly. My theater has only minimal recliner seats, they're fun.

I'm fine with it. As long as I don't have people chewing popcorn like cattle around me, or answering their cell phones, everything's fine.

Just keep your phone off and its all good with me . But seriously , I live near some theaters that specialize in this (Roadhouse Cinema & Studio Movie Grill) and I really don't mind mofos reclining back. As long as there is plenty of space for my legs (I'm kinda tall at 6'2) then I'm good. The way these are set up, I usually have plenty of room so its not a problem.
